Kitchen Tiled Floors

Typically it takes around 6 days to Tile a Kitchen Floor for an average sized kitchen. If there is existing tile on the floor and it's in good shape, plus floor thresholds that allow. We would start from Step 03. Cutting the amount of days down to roughly 3.5. Be sure to keep in mind, actual days vary.

01

Demo | Frame

Approx. 2 Days

Removing the current floor in the bathroom. This may consist of ripping out the entire subfloor to the joists, to just taking off the top layer of flooring. Every floor is different and every solution is different as well.

02

Tile Substrate

Approx. 1 Day

Installing your choice of Hardie Cement Backer Board or Schluter DITRA membrane, which is water proof. For your substrate underneath the tile.

03

Tile | Grout

Approx. 3 Days

Your choice of tile laid on the floor, with tile leveling clips. Ensuring no lippage where tiles meet.

We recommend a darker color grout for floors. This helps the longevity of the floors appeal.

04

Clean | Walk Through

Approx. 0.25 Days

After all tile and has been set and grout has been sealed with a grout sealer. A thorough clean is done. Then your new floor is ready to be walked on.
